Job Role
Specialist physiotherapist
Band 6: £37,338 - £44,962
30.5 hours per week
Permanent
Responsibilities
An opportunity has arisen for a band 6 physiotherapist to join our South Kirklees Orthopaedic and Frailty team.
Locala community rehabilitation service provides high-quality care to patients in their own homes, community rehabilitation facilities, and care homes. We are patient-centred and holistic in our approach, working with patients to maximise their independence.
The role requires a motivated and dynamic person to work within an established service. It is essential that you can work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience in treating patients with falls, frailty, and orthopaedic conditions is essential. There are opportunities for training within the team. Good communication skills and team working are essential qualities.
This is a community-based role, so being a driver with access to a vehicle for business use is an essential requirement.
We would consider a development role for a Band 5 clinician to progress knowledge and skills through a competency framework.
Suitable applicants need postgraduate experience working with patients with falls, frailty, and orthopaedic conditions, and some community experience.
Applicants need to be HCPC registered with the right to work in the UK.
If you can use your own initiative, are flexible, and motivated to be part of a developing service, come and join us.
This post is subject to a disclosure and barring service (DBS) check, and you must be able to fulfill the travel requirements of the post.
