Reception & Conference Services ManagerLocation: HelensburghContract: Full time | Includes Duty Manager weekend rotaAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Reception & Conference Services Manager to lead the delivery of all front‑of‑house, accommodation, conferencing, and events services across site. You will hold full responsibility for operational delivery, financial performance, compliance, and team management, ensuring all services are delivered in line with contractual obligations and company standards — with no KPI failures.This role requires a confident operational leader with strong financial control, people management expertise, and a proactive approach to client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all Reception, Accommodation, Conference and Events services across siteEnsure full compliance with contractual, health & safety, food safety and company standardsManage accommodation bookings, conferences and events to meet client requirementsControl budgets, labour costs, stock and purchasing within agreed parametersProduce accurate costings, billing and invoicing in line with contractual expectationsComplete weekly finance reporting, forecasts and Nexus submissionsLead, train and motivate the team, managing rotas, attendance and performanceEnsure all mandatory training, uniforms and standards are maintainedManage incidents, audits, investigations and compliance reportingBuild strong, proactive client relationships and continuously improve service deliveryPerson SpecificationEssentialProven experience managing teams in a customer‑facing, operational environmentStrong financial and commercial awareness, including billing and cost controlExperience managing accommodation, conferencing, events or similar servicesBasic Food Hygiene qualificationConfident IT user with experience of finance and booking systemsStrong people management and organisational skillsDesirablePrevious experience in a similar roleGood knowledge of accommodation, conferencing and events operationsSales or commercial experienceSolid understanding of food safety and health & safety requirementsMinimum 2 years' relevant experienceSkills & BehavioursClear and confident communicatorCustomer‑focused with strong client awarenessResults‑driven with attention to detailAbility to hold others accountable and lead by exampleAdaptable, proactive and self‑motivated
