We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Administrator with excellent organisational skills to join our team supporting our Accounts/Office Manager at our office based on Burgh Road Industrial Estate.
Candidate/Role Overview;
* Strong background in Construction based Sales and Purchase Ledger.
* Proficient with Sage 50 Accounts, book-keeping and ledger experience using nominal codes.
* Maintain and reconcile Sales and Purchase Ledgers.
* Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Manage accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments received.
* General accounts/office administration.
* Reception duties as required.
* Assist in booking accommodation and organising subsistence for project teams
Skills and Experience;
* Minimum 2 years Construction Accounts and Sage 50 experience preferred.
* Knowledge of Construction CIS & VAT.
* Experience of Microsoft, Word, Outlook, Excel.
* Strong data entry skills, with high attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
* Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers and clients.
* Good telephone etiquette.
* Proficient approach to troubleshooting and finding solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Education;
GCSE or equivalent
NVQ in Accounts or Business would be an advantage (or equivalent)
1 to 2 years administration experience preferred
