Senior Building Services Engineer – London
My company a leading multi-disciplinary building services consultancy with a strong reputation for technical excellence, sustainability, and client collaboration are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Services Engineer to join their established team and play a key role in delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of building services across multiple sectors
* Manage project teams, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery
* Provide mentorship and technical support to junior and intermediate engineers
* Undertake detailed calculations, reports, and specifications for mechanical and/or electrical systems
* Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors, with professionalism and expertise
* Ensure all designs comply with UK regulations, industry standards, and sustainability goals
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BEng/MEng preferred)
* Minimum 5+ years’ UK experience in building services consultancy
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it (CIBSE, IMechE, or equivalent)
* Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, and sustainable design principles
* Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
Desirable
* Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination
* Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams
* Knowledge of low-carbon technologies and energy modelling
