I’m working with a global manufacturer of environmental and climate control testing equipment who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager focused on the pharmaceutical sector.
This is a brand new role, created to drive growth across the UK & Ireland by developing relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, research facilities and life sciences organisations.
The company designs and manufactures specialist systems including isolators, airflow systems and stability chambers, supporting critical product testing and environmental control across different environments, including pharmaceutical, life sciences, electronics and aerospace.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of the pharmaceutical market across the region, identifying new opportunities and building long-term partnerships with customers. This role offers a great balance of business development, technical engagement and strategic relationship building.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Developing new business within pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations
* Building relationships with key decision-makers across the industry
* Managing the full sales process from prospecting through to close
* Working with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
* Representing the company at client meetings and industry events
What They’re Looking For
* Strong sales experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector
* Experience selling technical equipment, laboratory solutions or scientific systems is beneficial
* Commercially driven with a proactive, hunter-style approach to business development
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland
