Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? Our client is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants to work within NHS settings, supporting patients with compassion, dignity, and care. About the Role SJK Healthcare Recruitment are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our team, working within the NHS in the Mid / South Wales. You will provide safe, compassionate, and effective care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities of an outpatients health care assistant job description Health Care Assistants (HCAs) in outpatient settings are responsible for a variety of tasks that support the delivery of care and services to patients. Their responsibilities include: Washing and dressing patients : Ensuring patients' personal hygiene and comfort. Monitoring vital signs : Keeping track of patients' vital signs and reporting any changes. Providing emotional support : Offering support and companionship to patients during their treatment. Facilitating communication : Assisting patients with communication with healthcare professionals and other staff. Maintaining a clean environment : Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of patient areas. Documenting care : Keeping accurate records of patient care and any changes in their condition. Collaborating with healthcare teams : Working alongside nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. HCAs play a crucial role in the outpatient healthcare system, ensuring that patients receive the care and support they need to recover and manage their health conditions effectively.
