Overview

Our client, a leading player in the chilled packaging industry, is on an exciting journey and due to continued success, they are looking to add to their fantastic team through the appointment of a Telesales and Customer Service Executive. As a Telesales and Customer Service Executive, you will work closely with internal teams to proactively increase sales of products with a focus on securing new business.
Responsibilities
* Conduct outbound telesales activity to sell the full chilled packaging range
* Organise & manage daily call plan to meet outbound call KPIs
* Respond to e‑mail campaign interest, website sample enquiries
* Report on success
* Identify and manage prospects
* Influence customers to win business and cross‑sell associated products
* Achieve sales targets in line with KPIs
* Maintain market and competitor knowledge
* Take inbound calls from customers
* Liaise with sales representatives, customers, branches and suppliers
* Issue information and process orders from customers
* Deal with queries relating to orders and costings
* Create ad‑hoc sale reports
* Update orders, prices and order confirmations in the company’s systems
* Assist with month‑end processes
* Update stock levels and report figures to customers
About You
* Previous experience in a role that involves developing both new business and existing business in a telesales environment
* Ability to present the benefits of our product range and how this will assist the customer
* Strong listening skills
* Negotiation skills
* Ability to multitaskProficient in all IT applications: Word, Excel etc.
* Ability to analyse sales data
