CS 33426Pump Engineer - Workshop BasedDudley40 hours per week£19-£20 per hour (depending on experience)We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Based Pump Engineer to join our team in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialist engineering environment supporting customers in the water industry.About the RoleYou will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and refurbishment of pumps within our workshop facility. Working on a variety of pump types and systems, you will ensure equipment is returned to full working condition to meet customer and industry standards.This role is entirely workshop-based, providing a stable working environment with no regular field service requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesStrip down, inspect, repair, and rebuild pumpsDiagnose mechanical and electrical faultsCarry out full pump overhauls to manufacturer and industry standardsTest and quality-check completed units prior to dispatchMaintain accurate service and repair documentationWork safely and efficiently in accordance with company proceduresRequirementsPrevious experience in pump repair, mechanical fitting, or rotating equipment maintenanceStrong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamUnderstanding of health and safety in an engineering environmentExperience within the water industry or related sectors is advantageous but not essentialWhat We OfferCompetitive pay of £19-£20 per hourStable 40-hour working weekWorkshop-based role (no extensive travel)Opportunity to work on essential equipment supporting the water industrySupportive team environment with ongoing development opportunitiesIf you are an experienced engineer looking for a hands-on workshop role with varied and meaningful work, we would love to hear from you.To apply or for more information on the role please send your CV to or call 01329 221 399 ext 202.INDWTPBN1_UKTJ
