About the role The Finance and Commercial Operations Assistant will play a key role in supporting the finance and commercial team with day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and budgetary control, implementing smooth commercial processes and supporting the strategic growth objectives of the business. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, high levels of personal drive, initiative and self motivation, and the ability to both work and thrive in a fast-paced environment. About you Applicants should have the following skills Numeracy: Strong numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills are key to this role, along with the ability to “read the numbers” and to provide valuable insight. Organisational skills: be able to demonstrate that you are highly methodical in your approach with a strong attention to detail and accuracy Communication and Interpersonal skills: Be able to communicate verbally and in writing with clarity and simplicity and contribute to the preparation of tender proposals, client presentations and similar reports. IT Proficiency: Proficiency in using G sheets and experience in using Airtable software would be advantageous, although training will be provided Multitasking Skills: you will need to be able to work across a wide range of projects at any given time and be able to manage your time accordingly We are looking for individuals who are able to demonstrate: Personal Drive and Resourcefulness: be able to take the initiative, work independently and demonstrate determination in seeing project and individual tasks through to completion Relationship Building: the ability to build strong relationships with your colleagues and project stakeholders is key to this role Desire to Learn and Question: you will be learning new systems and processes and we value the ability to critically evaluate these and recommend ways to improve efficiency Commercial Acumen: be able to demonstrate a commercial approach in supporting the business achieve its financial and strategic objectives Can Do Attitude: above all else, we value enthusiasm and a positive approach to everything you do, while the ability to problem solve and recommend solutions will be key to your success What we're looking for Education: We value enthusiasm, commitment and experience over formal qualifications, but require education to at least GCSE level AC (9-4) or equivalent in Maths and English Language. Desirable: Prior experience in a Finance or Commercial role Studying or have previously studied for a Finance related qualification Contract terms Salary: From £27,540/annum (pro rata) DOE Contract type: Permanent Contract Hours: 37.5 hours/week Holidays: 24 days bank holidays (pro rata) Benefits Company Bonus Scheme (subject to qualifying criteria) Medicash scheme (level 1) Death in Service London Living Allowance (if applicable) Pension Scheme Electric Vehicle Salary Sacrifice Scheme Cycle to Work Scheme
