£14 - £17 per hour based on experience

About the Role
Ashford Blake is a British furniture company specialising in handcrafted solid wood furniture. We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Furniture Maker to take on a unique part-time role combining craftsmanship with independence.
You'll be out on the road visiting customer homes across the UK, carrying out repairs, refinishing, and small joinery work to keep our bespoke tables looking their best. This is a role for someone who takes pride in their craft, can work without direct supervision, and takes full ownership of the quality of their work. When not travelling, you'll support production in our Warwickshire workshop.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out repairs, refinishing, and restoration of solid wood furniture at customer homes.
* Work independently on site, taking full responsibility for the standard of your work.
* Provide professional, courteous service to customers and represent Ashford Blake's values.
* Maintain and use company van, tools, and materials effectively.
* Support the workshop team with furniture making and finishing when required.
Requirements
* Proven experience in cabinet making, joinery, or fine furniture making (essential).
* Skilled in repair and finishing techniques (e.g. sanding, oiling, surface restoration, minor joinery).
* Ability to work confidently and independently with no direct oversight.
* Strong sense of craftsmanship and responsibility for the quality of your work.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Professional and customer-focused with good communication skills.
