Job Description We are looking for a Senior Technical Programme Manager to work across a range of high priority, technically sophisticated workstreams in an environment of rapid, iterative experimentation. As part of an encouraging, lean and hardworking team of Technical Programme Managers, you will be driving cross-functional initiatives, working closely with our brilliant teams in Product, Engineering, Data, Finance, Legal, Marketing & CX ensuring they are set up for success to deliver impact and that risk and friction is minimised. This is a fixed term role, with an exciting potential for broad scope and reach as you will be responsible for driving strategic programmes alongside teams and leadership from every part of the business. Responsibilities Project & Programme Management : Drive accountability and clarity of priorities across your workstreams to ensure the timely realisation of value by enabling strategic, data-driven, decision-making Take a user centric approach, ensuring your workstreams are set-up for success with the most appropriate reporting cadences, touchpoints, tools and approaches Collaborate seamlessly and proactively across the company to identify and supervise timelines and dependencies, mitigate risks and issues and build clear lines of communication across teams Strategy & Operations : Guide and support your workstreams through our lightweight quarterly and annual reflections and objective setting processes Identify and iteratively improve our lean operational processes, tools and guardrails to enable Product & Engineering to efficiently collaborate, plan and deliver Craft and share high quality communications that succinctly deliver key messages to broad audiences including senior executives Help leadership align priorities across the organisation to build more significant impact and ensure clarity of focus for teams in your workstreams Advancement of Depop’s agile/lean practises : Facilitate, mentor and share findings to empower teams to iteratively improve their ways of working and delivery Contribute to the Internal Ops Community of Practice where we share insights, reflections, approaches, and takeaways Requirements You have considerable technical programme management experience, with a consistent track record in leading sophisticated technical workstreams, ensuring alignment and resolving dependencies and conflicts swiftly and amicably You have excellent stakeholder management, influencing and relationship building skills, which you used to ensure visibility and collaboration across technical and functional boundaries You have outstanding communication skills, and can tailor your message to suit your audience’s needs (who may or may not be technical), using emotional intelligence and active listening to read situations quickly You’re adept at driving accountability, and have strong command skills, you’re not afraid to take exciting stances with senior partners Your user and business value driven, with hands on experience collaboratively scoping, kicking off and delivering programmes, articulating what success looks like, why it looks like that and how to measure it You are adept at working in ambiguity and can identify, surface and resolve risks and uncertainty You’re highly organised and proactive and able to use your understanding of agile/lean tools and techniques to problem-solve and optimise cross-functional systems and processes Approachable with sophisticated skills in facilitation, mentor and mediation, you’ll have a highly developed ability for working with others and crafting the space for strategic and timely decision-making You have a growth mindset and actively seek and give feedback as well as ways to share findings with your peers You have high technical and product literacy, you’re able to keep up with technical discussions in support of the overall project outcomes Nice to have Experience working in a fast paced, product scale up environment or as a consultant You’re an entrepreneurial thinker, with an instinct for spotting opportunities and alignments Additional Information Health Mental Wellbeing PMI and cash plan healthcare access with Bupa Subsidised counselling and coaching with Self Space Cycle to Work scheme with options from Evans or the Green Commute Initiative Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for 24/7 confidential support Mental Health First Aiders across the business for support and signposting Work/Life Balance: 25 days annual leave with option to carry over up to 5 days 1 company-wide day off per quarter Flexible Working: MyMode hybrid-working model with Flex, Office Based, and Remote options *role dependant All offices are dog-friendly Ability to work abroad for 4 weeks per year in UK tax treaty countries Family Life: 18 weeks of paid parental leave for full-time regular employees IVF leave, shared parental leave, and paid emergency parent/carer leave Learn Grow: Development discussions to support continuous learning and professional growth.
