You’ll be paid a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, there will also be an additional 15% night shift premium. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Supervise and motivate your Team Managers, ensuring alignment with cost and service kpis, ensuring SLAs are achieved
* Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to fully understand our customer and company requirements, incorporating them into all planning and reporting tools, activities and projects
* Provide training and coaching to staff on process improvements, quality standards, and safety practices
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality and customer satisfaction
* Support the culture of continuous improvement, ensuring your managers are working on improvement projects and delivering change outside of peak
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Previous experience in a similar role within warehouse operations, if you’ve worked in retail that would be a big tick for us
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team
* Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
* Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and data analytics tools
* Change management experience - supporting continuous improvement on site and helping to implement change
