You will work on a variation of live projects, within a large multidisciplinary design team, and with support from both the design and site teams, you will offer positive impact on the community. You will be automatically enrolled into our bespoke Early Careers Development Programme; a 12-month scheme designed to enhance your skills, expand your network, and enrich your experience.
Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed civil engineering designs and calculations
* Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules
* Work closely and collaboratively with the construction team to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and beyond
* Prepare designer risk assessments, health & safety risk assessments, and associated documents and reports
* Engage and collaborate with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approach
Qualifications
* Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc)
* Excellent verbal communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and team members
* Excellent written communication and attention to detail, with ability to produce accurate technical drawings and good report writing
* Considered approach to problem solving
