Purpose of the Job

·To inspire learners so that they make excellent progress and tap into their individual potential.

·To carry out the professional duties of a Main Grade Teacher under the Teacher’s Contract (as defined in the recent School Teachers’ pay and Conditions document) ensuring the education and welfare of a class/group of pupils having due regard to the school’s aims, values and curriculum.

·To work closely with year group class teachers and senior leaders to plan focussed and targeted intervention and support to accelerate the progress of identified underachieving pupils

·To share in the corporate responsibility for the well being and discipline of all pupils

Requirements:

·Qualified teacher

·Enhanced DBS + relevant disclosures

·Motivated to develop professionally

·Experience relevant to teaching in the EYFS.

·Setting high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge

·Evidence of children making at least good progress.

·Demonstrates good subject and curriculum knowledge relevant to the year group.
