Cedar are supporting a key Public Sector client based in the Midlands who are looking to hire a number of Interim Head of Category covering FM, Housing and Social Care. The requirements are on an initial 6 month contract basis operating INSIDE IR35 paying up to £550 per day. The roles will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectations to be on-site 2 days per week.
Each Head of Category will be responsible for managing c4 individuals in their assigned category area and will be required to ensure compliance, in line with the new PA23 regulations, and continual delivery while our client goes through a period of change and transformation.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
* recent experience working in the Public Sector in a role covering Procurement, Category or Commercial Management
* completed the Procurement Act 2023 training (this is a key requirement)
* experience working in one of the key categories being hired i.e. FM, Housing and/or Social Care
* strong attention to detail along with strong team management and stakeholder engagement skills
