Operations Processor - East Midlands Hub
Pay: £16.16 / hour (Weekly Pay, PAYE Only)
Hours: Full-Time, Sun-Thu or Mon-Fri, Night Shifts 23:30 - 08:00
Gi Group are looking for reliable and motivated Operations Processors to work with a reputable logistics company based in East Midlands Hub. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ongoing role focused on warehouse operations and vehicle loading.
Your Responsibilities as an Operations Processor:
* Load vans overnight using postcode identification to allocate shipments to the correct shelf within the vehicle.
* Scan shipments accurately and process them efficiently within challenging timeframes.
* Load and offload palletised material while ensuring careful handling of shipments.
* Maintain warehouse cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
* Follow all legislative health, safety, and security procedures.
What You'll Need as an Operations Processor:
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment (preferred but not essential).
* Knowledge and understanding of manual handling techniques.
* Physically capable of performing the requirements of the role.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Able to provide 5 years of work/education history for security clearance.
* DBS check required (can be provided but may take up to two weeks).
