Job overview The speciality doctor role involves covering CAMHS crisis for half the time and Core CAMHS sector for the rest. Crisis role involves providing support to Crisis team in assessing and treating CYP presenting in crisis with wide range of mental health issues. The post involves working with an experienced and well established CAMHS crisis consultant. The other half of the job involves providing support to sector consultants with core CAMHS patients presenting with mental health or neurodevelopmental issues. On a day-to-day you will assess and handle a wide range of psychiatric disorders, as you develop and offer specialist therapeutic skills and services. What’s more, you will gain experience of specialists within the services, with ample training and development. You will have full GMC registration and ideally be Section 12 approved.
