Overview
We are looking for a caring and proactive Student Wellbeing Officer to join our team. Working under the guidance of the Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of both students and staff within the Academy. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing medical support, first aid, and day-to-day health advice. You will be the first point of contact for sickness or injury, ensuring that anyone in need feels supported and guided towards the right care. In addition, you will work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to promote health education and wellbeing initiatives across the Academy.
37 hours per week, 39.2 working weeks per year.

Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for sickness or injury and provide medical support, first aid, and day-to-day health advice.
* Support the health and wellbeing of students and staff and guide individuals towards appropriate care.
* Collaborate with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to promote health education and wellbeing initiatives across the Academy.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in a relevant discipline (or equivalent qualification).
* First Aid qualification.
* Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous, but not essential.
* Compassion, reliability, and a commitment to student wellbeing.
