JOB DESCRIPTION
As our new Cashdesk Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing ways of working in what is one of Genting's leading venues. If you’re motivated by impact, influence, and the opportunity to drive meaningful change, we’d love to hear from you.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a senior cashdesk position with responsibility of overseeing a team and managing performance in line with policies and procedures.
Key Competencies & Duties include:
1. Take overall responsibility for the leadership, direction, and performance of the Cash Desk team, ensuring a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment at all times.
2. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Cash Desk, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently, and that all compliance, security, and customer service standards are consistently met.
3. Manage the staff rota, including planning, scheduling, and authorising shifts and holiday requests, to ensure adequate coverage and business continuity in line with company policy and operational needs.
4. Lead on all people management matters within the Cash Desk, including recruitment, induction, training, performance management, and development of team members.
5. Act as the primary point of contact for all Cash Desk staff, providing guidance, support, and regular feedback, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to contribute ideas and best practices to enhance the Cash Desk operation.
7. Ensure effective communication between the Cash Desk and other departments, working closely with senior management to support business objectives and resolve operational challenges.
8. Take responsibility for the implementation and adherence to all company policies relating to staff conduct, attendance, and welfare within the Cash Desk team.
