Job Title: Security Consultant focussing on Incident Readiness
Location: Central London, On-site
Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £60,000 – £100,000 + Performance Bonus (Higher for exceptional talent)
The Opportunity
Move Faster. Solve More.
Are you a consultant tired of the "approval loop"? Or an internal security professional feeling like you’re only seeing one side of the coin?
We are representing a high-growth, already profitable cyber insurance startup founded by a team with a track record of scaling businesses from inception to IPO and successful exit. They don't rely on funding rounds, they rely on being the smartest cyber experts in the insurance room.
We are looking for Cyber Security Consultants who want to stop just advising, and start building resilience. In this role, if you see a solution to a client’s problem, you don’t wait for a steering committee, you start building it.
The goal is to move their clients from a vulnerable state to a position of true incident preparedness. You will be the technical hand that guides them through the worst-case scenarios, ensuring they have the muscle memory to survive.
Core Responsibilities:
* Design and implement robust Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Cyber Resilience frameworks.
* Conduct deep-dive maturity assessments and gap analyses against global standards.
* Don't just recommend controls, help implement and assess them to ensure they actually work.
* Lead incident response planning and facilitate high-stakes Table Top Exercises for executive boards and technical teams.
* Constantly update and recommend security best practices to keep our clients ahead of emerging threats.
Who You Are:
* You thrive in fast-paced environments where the "status quo" is the enemy.
* You aren't afraid to try new things. We value calculated risks; we believe if you aren't failing occasionally, you aren't moving fast enough.
* You have a solid grasp of security controls and how they apply to diverse business environments.
* You can translate a complex "gap analysis" into a business-winning strategy for a CEO.
Why This Role?
* IPO-Proven Leadership: Work directly with founders who have successfully exited startups before. This isn't their first rodeo.
* Unrivalled Progression: Being a startup, they don't have "bands" or "years in grade." Your career moves as fast as you do.
* True Autonomy: They are a "flat" organization. You have the freedom to solve problems for clients without red tape.
* Financial Stability: They are profitable and self-sustaining. No "runway" anxiety here.
