The role

We are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading Fintech organisation during a period of continued growth and transformation. As part of their evolving people strategy, the business is seeking to appoint a highly experienced Head of Reward on a 12 to 18 month fixed-term contract. This is a pivotal role, reporting directly into the Chief People Officer and with regular exposure to the Board and Remuneration Committee.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in compensation and benefits, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills and regulatory awareness, particularly within the context of FCA/PRA guidelines. This is an opportunity to shape, refine and deliver a best-in-class reward strategy in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the annual compensation cycle, including salary review, bonuses, and equity awards, delivering data-driven recommendations to leadership and the Remuneration Committee.
* Oversee the administration of equity and share-based compensation in partnership with Finance, Legal, and external advisers.
* Act as a subject matter expert on PRA/FCA remuneration regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant frameworks and embedding effective, risk-aligned reward policies.
* Prepare high-quality materials and reporting for the RemCo and Board, while managing relationships with external brokers and consultants.
* Drive ongoing market benchmarking to ensure reward packages remain competitive and aligned with business strategy.
* Own the company’s benefits offering (pension, healthcare, life assurance), ensuring it delivers value, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Ideal candidate:

* Proven experience in a senior reward leadership role within Financial Services or a regulated environment.
* Track record of managing and supporting Remuneration Committees, with the ability to influence and advise at senior levels.
* Deep understanding of PRA/FCA remuneration codes and associated regulatory requirements.
* Excellent analytical capability, with a confident and clear communication style.
* Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment undergoing transformation and growth.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
