Key Responsibilities

1. Liaising with lawyers to gather information and evidence relevant to the matter.
2. Derive relevant financial information from letters of claim, schedules of loss, witness statements, financial statements, expert reports, and other legal and financial documents.
3. Desktop research of businesses and individuals.
4. Analyse and explain financial information to a non-financial audience.
5. Critique opponent's expert accounting reports.
6. Present results in the form of memos, reports and/or schedules, as appropriate.

Essential Skills & Experience

10. High competence in Microsoft Excel

13. Good interpersonal skills
14. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and establish credibility with colleagues and clients
15. Confident, resilient, and enthusiastic
16. Ability to complete forensic accounting assignments with light review or supervision
17. Commercial awareness and knowledge of corporate activity and market trends
18. Self-motivated and possessing good time management skills
19. Good communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
20. Ability to build working relationships internally and externally
21. Demonstrable ability to solve problems and think laterally
22. Ability to analyse and assimilate information quickly
23. Takes responsibility and enjoys being challenged
24. Suitable qualifications: ACA, ACCA or internationally recognised equivalent designation
