A Quality Inspector opportunity has become available with a growing Nottingham based precision engineering business supplying complex components into a wide range of industries. With continued investment and a strong order book, the company is now looking to strengthen its Quality team with the addition of a Quality Inspector on a permanent day shift basis. Quality Inspector responsibilities include - Reading from technical drawings, work on first-off and final inspection activities using handheld inspection tools. Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and customer quality documentation packs. Support calibration activities for internal inspection equipment. Complete non-conformance reports and assist with root cause investigations alongside production teams. Set and operate CMM equipment (programming experience advantageous but not essential).Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience - Previous experience working within a similar position - Mechanical Inspector etc. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently.
