CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST – OFFICE BASED IN GLASGOW
Teleperformance is a fast-paced contact centre employer working with well-known clients to deliver world-class customer service.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an inbound customer service specialist in our Fraud Team on the Lloyds Banking Division campaign.
* Start Date: August 2025
* Salary: £13.50/hour, with an additional £1/hour between 9pm – 11pm
* Job Type: Full Time – Permanent
* Working Hours: 40 hours/week (including training)
* Operational hours after training: 10.00 - 23.00, Monday - Sunday
* Training: 2 weeks in Glasgow, City Park, hours 09:00 - 18:00, Monday – Friday
* Post-training: First 3 months on-site in Glasgow, then option for remote work based on performance

* Ability to deliver excellent service with an outgoing nature
* Fluent English communication skills
* Empathetic listening skills
* Confidence in handling difficult conversations
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and make complex decisions
* Self-motivated with problem-solving skills
* Experience working with vulnerable customers and in banking/financial services
* Previous call centre/customer service experience is essential
Role responsibilities include...
* Answering inbound calls and assisting customers
* Raising scam and fraud cases
* Handling objections and ensuring customer account security
* Investigating payments and resolving queries
* Supporting customers with banking services and promoting digital channels
* Supporting vulnerable customers and resolving complex cases
* Following banking processes and regulatory requirements
* Recording and resolving customer complaints efficiently
* Managing time effectively during busy periods
