Contract: Temporary (3rd November – 19th December, with potential extension)
Requirements of a Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications preferred. The school is also open to strong cover supervisors or non-specialist teachers confident in delivering Maths lessons. Current UK work eligibility (no sponsorship) is required, and full compliance checks including references and police checks will be completed upon application.
The Opportunity:
ANZUK Education are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Maths Teacher to join a supportive and friendly team. This role is to cover an absent Maths Teacher from 3rd November to 19th December, with the possibility of extension. You will be delivering engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, helping them build confidence and achieve their best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4 students (with support available)
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback where appropriate
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community
Planning and marking support provided due to the short-term nature of the role About You:
QTS or equivalent (though non-specialists confident in teaching Maths will be considered)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
