About The Role
Are you a confident communicator with a passion for building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service? Join our East Sussex Highways team as a Customer Engagement Advisor and play a key role in keeping Stakeholder's informed, engaged, and supported.
What you'll be doing
* Be the go-to contact for stakeholders including elected members, parishes.
* Manage enquiries from start to finish, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses.
* Proactively provide updates, resolve complaints, and maintain detailed records in our CRM system.
* Attend local meetings and contribute to East Sussex Highways Strategy.
* Support communications activities and events, occasionally outside standard hours.
Who we're looking for
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Confidence in face-to-face engagement.
* Ability to translate highways information into clear, customer-friendly updates.
* Experience handling complaints with professionalism and empathy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
* Full UK Driving Licence and geographical knowledge of East Sussex region.
