About the role
Hours of Work: Part Time 15.5 hours.
Contract type: Permanent.
Pay rate: £12.40.
Working hours: Two 18:00 - 22:00 evenings midweek, and one 7.5-hour shift on Saturday or Sunday. Applicants need to be flexible with work hours. Earliest start: 07:00. Latest finish: 22:00.
Role overview: To work as part of the hotel team to deliver excellent guest experiences through outstanding customer service, contributing to the efficient and profitable running of the hotel. The role offers personal and professional development opportunities, with flexible working arrangements supported by the Partnership.
Key duties include:
* Providing outstanding customer service and resolving guest queries/complaints.
* Interacting with guests and sharing product knowledge.
* Food service, including serving orders, clearing tables, and hygiene checks.
* Cleaning and resetting rooms, assisting with housekeeping tasks.
* Handling laundry and some kitchen porter duties.
* Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations (training provided).
Essential skills: Self-motivated, proficient in IT, excellent communication, hospitality experience.
Desirable skills: Level 2 Food Safety, additional hospitality experience.
