Assistant Accommodation Manager
Location: NHS Broomfield, Chelmsford
Salary: £27,000 – £29,042.42 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week
We have an opportunity for an Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our site operations team in Chelmsford. This role involves overseeing site operations, including logging maintenance repairs, conducting void room checks, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high cleaning standards.
We seek a professional, team-oriented individual experienced in a similar role, self-motivated, proactive, eager to learn, and aligned with Sanctuary’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a team of General Assistants, overseeing tasks such as cleaning communal areas, daily service cleans, and hotel-style changeovers of accommodation.
2. Allocate tasks and manage workloads to meet business priorities.
3. Handle financial tasks, including processing rent payments, invoices, and purchase orders.
4. Communicate professionally with tenants and the wider team, addressing queries promptly.
5. Deliver quality customer service and respond effectively to inquiries.
6. Conduct monthly building checks, raise repairs, inspect void rooms, and review work completion.
7. Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
1. Experience supporting high-quality accommodation operations or customer service.
2. Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
3. Experience managing staff and providing administrative support.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
6. A valid driver’s license, as occasional travel may be required.
