ROLE: Production Manager based at Vibration Production Warehouse but working across all Magazine London, Exhibtion White City, 26 Leake St, Drumsheds, Corner Corner and Dock X
REPORTS INTO: Senior Operations & Production Manager
LOCATION: Forest Trading Estate, Unit 4 A/B, Priestley Way, London, E17 6AL and across other venues in London
CONTRACT TYPE: hours per week, Monday to Sunday (5 days out of 7)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a technically confident and highly organised Production Manager to join the Vibration Venues production team. Reporting into the Senior Operations & Production Manager, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of all publicly promoted music events at venues where Vibration is the in-house production supplier. This role will focus predominantly on Magazine London, with additional support across Exhibition White City, 26 Leake Street, and other venues where Vibration delivers a live music programme.

This role will suit a hands-on, solution-driven individual with strong technical knowledge and proven experience delivering high-capacity events. You will be confident liaising with suppliers, artists, promoters, and cross-functional teams, with a proactive mindset and excellent attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a high-performing team and help deliver some of the most ambitious events in the UK.

You will be responsible for advancing and delivering live music events from initial planning through to show close, ensuring the highest creative, technical, operational, and safety standards are met. This includes managing all production suppliers, coordinating technical requirements, and acting as a key point of contact between venues, artist teams, promoters, and internal departments. During quieter periods for live music, you will support the production delivery of non-music events across Vibration’s warehouse venues, including exhibitions, conferences, brand activations, corporate events, private hires, and awards ceremonies, supporting consistent production excellence across all event programming.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Live Music & Promoted Events

Technical Production Leadership

1. Overseeing all technical production for live music and promoted shows from pre-planning through to delivery.
2. Acting as the primary technical lead onsite for internal shows and external promoter events.
3. Supporting wider production teams with technical expertise where required.
4. Working closely with internal planning and creative teams to interpret and deliver the artistic vision for each event.

Design & Technical Planning

5. Producing, reviewing, and approving detailed technical documentation and production drawings.
6. Managing all technical disciplines including lighting, audio, video, rigging, power, staging, and temporary structures.
7. Ensuring all technical plans are safe, feasible, and aligned with venue infrastructure and operational standards.
8. Collaborating with health & safety teams to ensure compliance with legislation, licensing, and best practice.

Advancing & Delivery

9. Leading artist technical advancing, including rider reviews, venue overlays, site visits, and on-day fulfilment.
10. Acting as the technical ambassador for artists, promoters, and external partners.
11. Advising on venue capabilities, constraints, and technical solutions.
12. Leading on-site delivery including load-ins, rehearsals, show operation, and load-outs.
13. Ensuring all events are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standard.

Suppliers & Budget Management

14. Managing and coordinating all technical suppliers, both internal and artist-appointed.
15. Overseeing procurement processes and supplier performance.
16. Building, managing, and forecasting production budgets.
17. Identifying efficiencies and cost savings without compromising quality or safety.

Non-Music Events

18. Overseeing technical production for exhibitions, conferences, brand activations, awards ceremonies, and private events.
19. Supporting event planners and internal teams to interpret client briefs and technical requirements.
20. Coordinating suppliers, crew, schedules, and technical delivery across all event formats.
21. Ensuring events are delivered on time, within budget, and to Vibration’s production standards.
22. Maintaining consistent health & safety, quality, and operational standards across all warehouse venues.
23. Contributing to continuous improvement of production processes and systems across the business.

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

24. Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale live event or venue production.
25. Proven experience delivering multi-disciplinary productions at venues of 1,000+ capacity.
26. In depth technical knowledge across rigging, lighting, video, audio, power and staging.
27. Strong commercial skills: capable of managing budgets, negotiating costs, and securing value from suppliers.
28. Excellent stakeholder and artist liaison skills: confident dealing with senior creatives, managers, promoters, and internal teams.
29. High level of competence with CAD software such as Vectorworks or AutoCAD.
30. Clear, calm communicator with the ability to lead under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
31. A natural leader with experience developing teams and building positive working cultures.
32. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the event schedule.
33. Experience of collaborating with an external venue sales team.
34. Proficient in Microsoft/Google packages.

This is a full-time position that may require travel and work outside of regular business hours. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of event professionals and help create memorable events for clients.
