About the role:
Change Mental Health, an award-winning Scottish charity supporting individuals affected by mental health issues, is offering an exciting opportunity in the Employability Service in Dumfries. We seek someone passionate about empowerment, eager to utilize their skills in group and one-to-one work to support service users in developing and enhancing employability skills.
This diverse role involves facilitating structured activities to help service users achieve their goals, improve existing skills, and develop new ones. Working within the Employability Team, you will have the opportunity to be innovative and creative to meet service needs.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be a team player, creative, possess excellent communication skills, and have a good sense of humor. They should be educated to SVQ Level 2 or equivalent and experienced in working with individuals affected by mental illness.
You should demonstrate a compassionate, non-judgmental approach and work closely with colleagues to develop services and connect with the community.
