About the role As a retail Operations Coordinator, you will support the coordination of centrally driven business initiatives and activities, and work to control the impact of these on our members and field teams. You will provide the field team with data and analytical insight into key business areas with a focus on sales driving activity. Serving over 12 million customers and employing over 28,000 individuals, the Group supports and serves communities through its operations across the UK, Pakistan and the Middle East Responsibilities: Coordinate the activity planner, working with the Retail Operations Manager, across functions to ensure joined up thinking and accurate output from the governance process. Coordinate and maintain the operational risks and issues log to ensure that we manage and mitigate these in a timely, effective manner. Support the identification and fixing of all issues and obstacles which create inefficiencies in cross-functional processes & initiatives. Support the drive to achieve a reduction in inbound issue-based tickets logged into Jira by working upstream across the business to tackle the root cause of failures. Forge close working relationships with the Business Development Team and central functions, ensuring an effective two-way flow of feedback. The Ideal Candidate Excellent knowledge and experience of using PC applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint & Excel. Confident in analysing information and creating reports. A desire to learn and build knowledge of our business and sector. Detail orientated and very thorough – a completer-finisher. A confident, driven and enthusiastic character who is a self-starter. Ability to build great relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. A great problem solver. Is prepared to challenge others. Ability to prioritise under pressure to ensure delivery of deadlines. Good communicator across different levels within a business.
