Are you a passionate and experienced teacher with a commitment to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with several secondary schools across Knowsley who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
* Support students with EHCPs, including those with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
* Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external agencies
* Create an inclusive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
* Monitor and track student progress, adapting strategies as needed
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEN
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies, differentiation, and behaviour management
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support
