A well-regarded secondary school in Audenshaw is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role, suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Planning and teaching engaging History lessons that develop pupils' curiosity, critical thinking, and historical understanding
* Preparing students for GCSE examinations with a strong focus on content knowledge and exam technique
* Contributing to the wider Humanities faculty and school community
* Supporting academic progress through effective assessment and feedback
* Encouraging a love of history through trips, clubs, and extra-curricular learning
