Overview
Due to continued growth throughout AMP8, Bridges will be continually hiring approved electricians to work on our water industry projects across the Hampshire and Southern areas. Bridges is listed on the Sunday Times Top 100 Places to Work 2024. We shape and support engineering and construction for our clients who in turn touch the daily lives of millions of people across the UK. Our team is diverse and focused on Safe & Happy People, delivering innovation and sustainability for all stakeholders. We work across Water, Power, Energy and Aggregates, with a regional office network and a manufacturing hub in Somerset forming part of our 60,000ft head office complex. Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, while supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients as subcontractors and in off-site manufacturing capacity.
The Role
This is a permanent opportunity. Contracted to 40 hours per week on-site, Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. Travel time is paid door to door. This role involves working as a team of electricians on many industrial and water industry programmes of work. Travel across the Hampshire and Southern areas.

Requirements
Essential
* ECS gold card (essential)
* Experience as an Electrician or electrical improver
* Able to manage own workload
* Fitness to work medical (can be completed upon commencement of employment)
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* EUSR water hygiene
* Thames water passport
* Inspection and testing medical
* PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
* COMPEX
* Industrial and/or panel wiring experience
