Job Advert: SEN TA (Full-Time)
Location: Derby
Salary: £20,600 – £21,700 per annum
Closing Date: 28th November
Start Date: ASAP
As part of the education personnel team, I’m excited to share this opportunity to join our dedicated school community as a SEN TA. We are a specialist setting that provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children and young people aged 4 to 19, all of whom have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). Our pupils have a diverse range of special educational needs, including autism, and every member of our team plays a vital role in helping them flourish.
About the Role
We’re looking for someone compassionate, resilient, and ready to make a meaningful difference. As a SEN TA, you’ll support pupils in their learning, social development, and wellbeing, working closely with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to create an environment where every child can succeed.
Why Join This Department?
Working within our specialist provision comes with rewards that go far beyond the job title:
*
Impactful Work – Every day brings the chance to genuinely change a young person’s life, helping them overcome barriers and celebrate achievements others might take for granted.
*
Collaborative Team Culture – You will work alongside passionate professionals who support each other, share expertise, and celebrate successes together.
*
Professional Growth – Staff are encouraged and supported to develop their practice in SEN, autism, behaviour support, and child development—skills that are highly valued across the education sector.
*
A Positive Environment – Our school prioritizes wellbeing for both pupils and staff, offering a warm, inclusive atmosphere where creativity, patience, and teamwork thrive.
*
Stability and Purpose – Supporting pupils with EHCPs allows you to build long-term, meaningful relationships, watching progress happen over time.
