Requirements for applicants:
6. A formal qualification in sustainability, environmental management, or a built-environment subject
7. Previous experience working within sustainability consultancy
8. Experience delivering BREEAM assessments
9. Working knowledge of UK environmental and sustainability legislation
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing
11. Confidence delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders
12. Experience with LEED, Ska or the WELL Building Standard
13. Experience using materials life cycle tools (e.g., OneClick LCA)
14. Experience delivering circularity assessment
15. Experience with IES VE
16. Experience with overheating assessments
Duties and responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across sectors such as workplace, healthcare, education, heritage, sport, leisure, and residential. Responsibilities may include:
17. Developing sustainability strategies and monitoring frameworks
18. Creating net zero carbon strategies and assessments (operational and embodied)
19. Delivering material lifecycle assessments
20. Conducting circularity assessments
21. Completing environmental and wellbeing assessments including BREEAM, LEED, Ska and WELL
22. Supporting post-occupancy evaluation and building optimisation
23. Contributing to ESG consultancy
24. Preparing planning documentation including Sustainability and Energy Statements
25. Working collaboratively with architects, engineers and designers to influence proposals and promote low-impact design solutions
