Overview of the role:
West Court Retreat is seeking an experienced and polished Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and deliver an exceptional, guest-focused beverage experience aligned with our refined retreat atmosphere.
You will oversee daily bar operations, lead and develop the bar team, curate an elevated beverage program, and ensure a warm, professional environment for all guests.
Please note, West Court Retreat is not on a public transport route, so please consider necessary travel arrangements.

What You’ll Do:
Key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:
* Deliver attentive, memorable service and maintain a welcoming bar ambiance
* Manage daily bar operations, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance
* Lead, train, and schedule bar staff, fostering a positive team culture
* Develop and maintain beverage menus including cocktails, mocktails, wines, and spirits
* Oversee inventory, ordering, stock control, and cost management
* Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible service standards
What sets you apart:
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
* 2+ years’ experience as a Bar Manager or senior bartender
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Excellent knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beverage trends
* Calm, professional, and guest-focused approach
* Creative eye for presentation and consistency
* Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
