Learning Support Assistant
Full time - 30 hours per week - actual salary £21,679 to £22,628
Fixed term contract for 1 year with the possibility of a future permanent role
39 weeks per year - term time including 5 INSET days

Hampton Junior School is a successful, happy school which has a reputation for providing excellent provision for all children including those with special educational needs. We are federated with Hampton Infant School.
The Governors are looking to employ an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in KS2. You would be working to support the learning of children under the supervision of the teacher. This may be in support of whole class learning, small groups or working with a child one to one basis.
We are looking for an experienced, flexible person with a caring nature who enjoys working with children. The candidate will need to be able to work as part of a team and able to demonstrate an understanding of health and safety.
Applicants will ideally be qualified to NVQ level 2 or above in child care; a current first aid certificate would be an advantage. Experience of working in an educational environment is essential.
