About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Funds/ LP Transfers Lawyer to join a forward-thinking, tech-enabled legal platform supporting some of the world’s leading asset managers and private equity firms.
This is a non-traditional legal role, sitting within a specialist funds team that combines legal expertise with a highly structured, delivery-led model. The environment offers a more in-house style of working, while retaining the quality and pace of private practice.
The role
This position focuses on LP transfers and secondaries, with full ownership of the transfer lifecycle.
You will:
* Manage LP transfers end-to-end, from instruction through to closing
* Draft and negotiate transfer agreements and subscription documentation
* Coordinate multi-party processes, including KYC and execution
* Act as a day-to-day client contact for leading asset managers
* Work closely with senior leadership to support delivery and team growth
This is a hands-on, execution-led role with a high degree of ownership and responsibility.

About you
* Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or US)
* Ideally 3–6 PQE
* Background in: Private funds / investment funds, Private equity / asset management
* Exposure to: Closed-ended funds, Secondaries / LP transfers (desirable but not essential)
* Strong: Drafting and transaction management skills, Organisation and ability to manage multiple workflows, Client-facing communication
