Temporary Skilled Labourer/Handyman - £15.50 - £16p/h - Manchester, M15
Immediate Start, Weekly Pay - PAYE
My client, a busy property company, requires an efficient temporary skilled labourer to assist with reactive repairs and maintenance at one of their accommodation sites for 4 weeks.
Job duties include:
* Undertaking reactive maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, joinery, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
* Moving furniture and heavy items across the premises.
* Maintaining lighting and conducting statutory testing.
* Responding appropriately to health and safety issues.
* Managing electronic maintenance reports and updating as needed.
* Monitoring stock and materials levels, and informing management when supplies need to be ordered.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience in repairs and maintenance in residential environments or general building trades such as plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry.
* The ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* A positive attitude, initiative, and professionalism.
