We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Lead Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives across our Corporate Services portfolio, while also managing and developing a team of Delivery Managers.
This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery aligned to business goals, as well as building capability, consistency, and best practice across the delivery team.
You will play a key role in shaping ways of working, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring delivery is predictable, transparent, and business-focused.
Please be advised that this position requires attendance at Asda House in Leeds for a minimum of three days per week. We’re really looking forward to having you around!

What You'll Love
1. Lead, coach, and manage a team of Delivery Managers, setting clear expectations and supporting their development.
2. Own and oversee delivery across multiple workstreams and portfolios, ensuring alignment to business priorities and outcomes.
3. Establish and embed standardised ways of working across delivery, ensuring consistency and quality.
4. Provide oversight of delivery plans, progress, risks, and dependencies across the team.
5. Identify and manage cross-portfolio risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring they are proactively mitigated.
6. Act as the escalation point for complex delivery challenges and drive resolution.
7. Engage with senior stakeholders across business and technology to ensure alignment and confidence in delivery.
8. Ensure strong collaboration across cross-functional teams including engineering, product, QA, and operations.
9. Oversee vendor and third-party delivery performance and relationships.
10. Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, tooling, and reporting.
11. Ensure solutions meet technical, security, governance, and compliance standards.
12. Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.
What You'll Need
13. Strong experience in Delivery or Project Management within complex technology environments.
14. Proven experience leading and developing delivery teams.
15. Ability to oversee multiple workstreams while maintaining attention to detail.
16. Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
17. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
18. Experience with delivery tools such as Jira and MS Project.
19. Experience managing vendors and third-party suppliers.
20. A continuous improvement mindset and focus on driving better ways of working.
