Powys SPACE Team Lead - Children, Young people and Families, Early Help)
About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead a new SPACE (Single point of access for children’s emotional wellbeing) in Powys. The Team Lead will be responsible for the development and operational management of the new SPACE (for children, young people, and families requiring early help and emotional wellbeing support in Powys. This role will ensure that children and families receive the right support, at the right time, from the right professional, through effective multi-agency collaboration and integrated working.
About you
* You are a suitably qualified professional with extensive experience working with children, young people and families.
* Proven experience in Early Intervention and prevention.
* Extensive experience of working with children, young people and families to prevent escalation.
* Extensive experience of building and managing successful multi-agency working partnerships.
* Experience of managing partnership processes, conversations and creating positive change.
* Excellent leadership and motivational skills that encourage commitment from others.
* Excellent ICT skills, ability to draft well produced reports and use a range of ICT applications and tools.
What you will do
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has extensive experience and a passion for working with children, young people and families at an early help and support level, to successfully manage the new SPACE process and panel, ensuring the right support at the right time.
The main responsibilities of the post are
* To lead, manage and have operational responsibility for the successful delivery of the new SPACE for children, young people and families in Powys.
* To ensure all referrals are received, triaged and managed appropriately, with sound decision making based on extensive experience.
* To organise and manage regular SPACE meetings, in a timely and efficient manner ensuring that all referrals are actioned, appropriate decisions made to ensure the most appropriate support is provided.
* Manage and facilitate multi-agency, partnership discussions and decision making to ensure referrals receive the right support.
* Excellent multi-agency partnership working.
* Line manage the co-ordinator and have oversight of other staff supporting the panel.
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of the panel and its function to evolve in line with changing needs.
* To have high practice standards and meet performance targets, contributing to the learning culture of the team and wider partnership.

Salary: Grade 13Point 37 to Point 39£48,226 to £50,269 per annum£24.99 to £26.05 per hour
