Role Overview
This is a growth role with real impact. As Business Development Executive, youll work with markets that are increasingly dependent on resilient, high-performance connectivity – and where Westbase.io has clear competitive advantage. Youll build and manage a pipeline of net new opportunities across multiple industries alongside our network of channel partners, developing the kind of trusted relationships that convert to long-term revenue.
Working consultatively, youll take time to understand the market and technology challenges that customers face – then position Westbase.ios solutions accordingly.

The Role in Practice
Your primary focus is net new business. Youll identify the right opportunities, build relationships at the right levels – from IT directors and procurement leads to senior leadership – and navigate the sales cycle. Youll be the face of Westbase.io in the market, being visible at sector events, active in your network, and current on the trends, funding landscape, competitor activity, and technology developments.
Selling at Westbase.io is consultative. Youll work closely with our pre-sales and technical teams to deliver solutions that genuinely fit customer requirements – whether thats LAN/WAN infrastructure, Wi-Fi and switching, cloud networking, or security – and youll bring those solutions to life through compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations tailored to each customer. Youre not selling off a shelf; youre helping organisations build the right connectivity foundation for their staff, customers, and operational needs.
Commercially, youll own your pipeline and forecast with accuracy. You will also collaborate across marketing, pre-sales, and delivery to ensure the customer experience is seamless from first conversation through to deployment.
What Youll Bring
Youll have a proven track record in business development within enterprise networking or IT infrastructure. You understand the technology – WAN/LAN, switching, routing, wireless, security, cloud networking – and you know how to translate capability into business outcomes for customers.
Youre comfortable with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and know how to build relationships at different levels of an organisation. You understand how these deal cycles work, and you use that knowledge to your advantage. Above all, youre self-motivated, commercially sharp, and focused on results.
Familiarity with our relevant vendor ecosystems (Ubiquiti, Ericsson/Cradlepoint, Ceragon, etc.) and vendor certifications would be an advantage. CRM experience, particularly with Netsuite, is also beneficial.
