Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a hardworking person to load and unload lorries, forklift training will be given when necessary. Knowledge and the ability to perform heavy lifting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from lorries
* Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
* Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented
* Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols at all times
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
* Provide support in construction projects as needed, utilising mechanical knowledge
Qualifications
* Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for handling equipment
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
