Based in the loading bay, to play an active role within the Security team providing support to the operation by ensuring all deliveries and collections are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
* To ensure all deliveries are checked on arrival at the Loading Bay, verifying the number of boxes/parcels and the
name of recipients.
* To record all deliveries received on the relevant system.
* To responsibly carry out quality checks and report any discrepancies in a timely manner.
* To ensure effective communications channels are maintained informing relevant parties of deliveries.
* To ensure all deliveries are signed for, completing relevant paperwork as always required whilst following
company policies and processes.
* To greet any scheduled external visitors to the area informing the control room/relevant department of their
arrival.
* To ensure proper organisation of deliveries to avoid congestion in the loading bay and contribute toward the
maintenance of a clean environment by picking up litter, reporting or dealing with spillages, etc.
* To investigate matters of concern reported by the control room/BOH Manager.
* To challenge any unauthorised persons entering the loading bay and report any concerns immediately to the
Control room.
* To support the provision of a high quality of customer care by providing information and assistance to visitors and
staff where requested.
* To be responsible for ensuring the loading bay area is secured at the end of each day and left in a safe manner.
* To ensure that your SIA Licence is on display at all times while at work
* Any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management
* To ensure all visitors and delivery drivers comply with laid sown Health and safety requirements.

First Aider Health and Safety responsibilities
All First Aiders must complete an accredited First Aid at Work training course and provide first aid in accordance with training provided and attend a refresher training course every 3 years - all First Aiders shall:
* Respond promptly to all requests for assistance
* Summon further help when necessary (emergency services)
* Look after the casualty until recovery has taken place or further medical assistance has arrived
* Report details of any treatment administered
* Ensure MITIE Accident Report Book is completed
Fire Marshall/ Warden Health and Safety responsibilities
All Fire Marshalls / Wardens must complete an accredited Fire Marshall / Warden training course and Fire Marshall / Warden duties in accordance with training provided.
