Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy office environment.
Duties
* Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, directing calls as necessary.
* Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organised calendar for the office.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date in our systems.
* Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
* Assist with administrative tasks including managing correspondence and preparing reports.
* Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for various office tasks.
* Maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring it is welcoming for guests.
Requirements
* Previous office or administrative experience is preferred.
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
* Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not essential.
