Kane Trailers is a family run company producing agricultural trailers for domestic and international markets. Established in 1969 the brand is well known for its quality and is respected in the engineering community. We have a new position for a person with strong technical knowledge to join our skilled team.
Role Overview:
The position is full time 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administration and stock organising duties within factory and work closely with the existing team to ensure smooth efficient running of purchase orders, job cards, stock control and general administrative duties within the production facility. As a role with desk and factory floor interaction this role is well suited to someone wanting to expand their engineering experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchase orders for all factory materials and consumables.
* Stock control
* Create and manage all factory documentation including SOPS (Standard Operating Procedures), training records, job cards within a working environment with the tendency towards paperless operations
* Other general technical office duties
* Health and Safety documentation
Essential Requirements:
* Technical ability to read and convey engineering drawings and specifications
* Advanced IT skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Microsoft Operating Systems and general hardware understanding
* Must be able to work with initiative and demonstrate problem solving skills
* Must hold valid UK driving licence
Preferred Requirements:
* Engineering Level 3 qualification or similar
* Knowledge of LEAN processes
* Experience in engineering sector

Pay: £26,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
