Job Title: Assistant Document Controller Location: Enfield (Office-based with 1–2 days working from home) Contract: 6-month contract with potential extension up to 18 months Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum Industry: Residential Development / Construction About the Role: We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Document Controller to join a leading residential developer on a 6-month contract, with strong potential to extend up to 18 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to important fire safety and building regulation projects within the residential sector. Based in Enfield, with the flexibility to work from home 1–2 days a week, you’ll work closely alongside a Senior Document Controller and play a key role in managing project documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Senior Document Controller with day-to-day document control activities. * Upload, review, and manage documents using project management systems * Ensure correct version control, document numbering, and proper distribution to relevant stakeholders. * Maintain accurate records of drawings, correspondence, and technical documentation. * Assist in preparing reports and audits related to building safety compliance. Requirements: * Previous experience in a document control or administrative role, ideally within construction, engineering, or residential development. * Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail. * Familiarity with common document control software is advantageous. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team. * A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
