Job Description:
Our client, a forward-thinking organization operating across cryptocurrency, traditional finance (TradFi), and classic financial services, is seeking an entrepreneurial and customer-centric Region Director of Account Management to lead and expand their VIP Account Management function.
This role will focus on building and leading a team of Account Managers to deliver exceptional, personalized service to high-value clients, fostering strong relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
* Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team of Account Managers dedicated to serving high-value clients across crypto, TradFi, and classic FS sectors.
* Establish best practices, processes, and KPIs to ensure outstanding account management and client service.
* Provide coaching and mentorship to Account Managers, empowering them with the skills, strategies, and insights needed to strengthen client relationships.
Client Management & Business Growth
* Develop and implement regional strategies to maximize client revenue, retention, trading activity, and assets under management (AUM) in crypto, traditional, and financial services markets.
* Deliver white-glove service to top-tier clients through proactive engagement, market insights, and tailored support.
* Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities to enhance product and service adoption among high-value clients.
* Build robust referral networks to expand business through existing client relationships.
* Act as the primary regional representative, aligning business strategies with market trends and client needs across diverse financial sectors.
* Develop deep market intelligence and competitive insights to uncover new growth opportunities in crypto, TradFi, and FS.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Legal/Compliance, Operations) to advocate for client needs and market-driven solutions.
Data-Driven Performance Management
* Monitor and optimize key metrics such as trading volume, frequency, AUM, and client engagement across financial platforms.
* Analyze account performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* Own regional business performance, setting and achieving ambitious KPIs.
Requirements:
* 8+ years of experience in account management, sales, or relationship management within cryptocurrency, traditional finance, fintech, or classic financial services.
* Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, with strong skills in hiring, coaching, and talent development.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of crypto trading, market dynamics, traditional financial instruments, or retail trading behaviors is a plus.
