More About The Role
This role is split between the Consumer & Brand and Corporate Sectors teams at Burson as a Social & Content Manager. You will be working as part of a global social media team for a leading technology company, as well as a hub social team for a leading European fashion brand, creating social-first content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and X. We are looking for someone who is passionate about social platforms, new content formats and with strong client management skills and the flexibility to work across different types of social platforms.
OUR LONDON OFFICE
Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
What You’ll Do
* Creating content briefs to feed into our design and editing team, developing copy and making recommendations on assets and content structure
* Concepting trending formats and ideas for Instagram/TikTok/LinkedIn
* Creating your own content, captured on iPhone and edited in Canva/Capcut/Instagram edits
* Managing social calendar across multiple regions for a global LinkedIn company page
* Managing client communications including leading content development workstreams, updating WIPs and calendars, internal communication with colleagues
* Creating reports on social media performance and sharing regular insights about developments in social media platforms and best practice
* Collaborating with PR and influence teams on events and taking ownership of the content capture for social
Experience That Contributes To Success
* Experienced in concepting social content, community management, copywriting
* Client management experience in an agency environment
* Skilled with developing content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok
* Experience with social tools such as Sproutsocial, Sprinklr, Canva, Capcut
* Support the team as needed in activating paid campaigns across channels, including campaign setup within platforms, campaign management, and creation of paid content.
